At Palm Beach Eye Center - Lake Worth we are looking for an experienced Part-Time Optometrist to join our growing team This is a Monday - Thursday, Day shift position. We are an established vision and ophthalmology center with several locations in Florida. Our board-certified eye physicians and optical team offer compassion, and personalized treatment for common and complex eye conditions and uphold a dedication to patient care that is simply second to none. RESPONSIBILITIES:The right candidate will be focused on providing comprehensive care for our patients including eye exams, management of disease, low vision , and providing pre/post operative care . Other responsibilities may include but not be limited to:Performing emergency patient examinations.Maximizes contact lens examinations and fittings.Provides contact lens instruction to the patient for insertion and removal.Grows optometric and ophthalmology practice.Education and Experience:Licensed optometrist in the state of Florida.Three years' experience as a practicing OptometristEssential Skills and Abilities:Provider of quality patient eye care.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Empathetic personality with concern for patients' needs.Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices and proceduresStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionalsDetail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient recordsCommitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting eye healthRequirementsWe understand the importance of work-life balance and want our team members to thrive personally and professionally.
