The most comprehensive health care network in northeastern Minnesota, Fairview Range includes Fairview Range Medical Center, Fairview Mesaba Clinics (with locations in Hibbing, Nashwauk, and Mountain Iron), Fairview Range Home Care and Hospice, and Fairview Transportation Services. **Apply today to join our 34,000+ employees and 5,000+ system providers working to build lasting relationships with the people we serve: our patients, our communities, and each other.** **Manager** **Job Responsibilities** + Utilizes a value-based method when recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified employees. + Participates in formal retention and recognition activities. + Develops and implements department specific orientation/education/competency programs. + Provides staff with education and resources to deliver evidenced based programs. + Conducts monthly unit meetings and identifies ongoing communication methods to keep the employees informed regarding the organizational strategic plans. + Communicates clear, concise expectations and demonstrates accountability for employee performance by coaching, mentoring, and initiating disciplinary action when appropriate. + Demonstrates just culture concepts to promote a safe, positive working environment. + Ensures unit activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirement and organizational policies. + Establishes and maintains current policies and procedures for the department in collaboration with the service line director. + Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory requirements to assure organizational compliance. + Actively participates in quality improvement activities by demonstrating knowledge of organizational and departmental quality measures, instituting actions to reach desired benchmarks, and understanding the financial rewards or penalties associated with the outcomes. + Stays current with profession through journals, professional organizations, continuing education, or networking with peers. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Business/related field. + In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, will consider graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy program with leadership experience. + Current ARRT registration as Radiation Therapist. **Preferred Qualifications** + Management experience.
