Summary:
Defense/Aerospace manufacturer of Cable Assemblies, Wire Harness"s and various types" of electro-mechanical products is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to work on our manufacturing production floor. In this position, you will work closely with cable production to connect our molded cable assemblies and construct electro-mechanical assemblies. You must be able to read and use the following: Manufacturing Work Instructions and Procedures, Mechanical Drawings and Electrical Schematics, as well as know how to use a variety of hand and power tools and be able to stand for extended periods. We prefer candidates who have mechanical assembly experience, as well as soldering/wiring experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Read mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics
* Use and follow Manufacturing Work Instructions/Procedures
* Assemble components from a manufacturing procedure
* Use locking compounds and apply torque requirements in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Work with production floor to assemble final product
* Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality
* Re-work and repair any components exhibiting non-conforming to final testing requirements
* Track and document required test results for internal and external compliance

Requirements and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED certificate
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Must be reliable, conscientious and detail oriented
* Experience working with cable harnesses, electronics or electronic enclosures
* Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
* Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
* Proficient with a solder iron or certified in ANSI/ J-STD-001
