Description:

The Divisionof Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at theUniversity of Illinois Chicago is seeking faculty members at or above any rank(from instructor to professor and rank is commensurate with experience) withacademic interests in general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease andmotility. University of Illinois Chicago is a top-tier public university.An excellent Gl fellowship program, state-of-the-art brand-new endoscopy suiteand clinic opened October 2022, and a wide breadth of clinical and basicscience expertise in the division makes this an excellent opportunity for Glfellows graduating from a strong university program, or a mid-careergastroenterologist who is interested in teaching and clinical research as afaculty member. MD or DO or equivalent degree is required.

Candidatesshould be BC/BE in gastroenterology and hepatology; and eligible to work inIllinois. Candidatesshould have a clinical focus in general GI, motility and inflammatory boweldisease. Academicproductivity is expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activityand teaching trainees are encouraged to join our established program. Anyappropriate candidates fulfilling the desired requirements are welcome to applyregardless of their current visa status.

Qualifications:

MDor DO or equivalent degree is required.
