NurseDash BenefitsDaily Pay Available Shift rate $30 - $37 per hourCompetitive rates for COVID and non-COVID unitsMultiple bonus program availablePick up shifts based on your schedule and flexibilityShifts only available exclusive through NurseDashAbility to work at other major cities in Texas where NurseDash has a networkLVN Responsibilities and DutiesAdministration of medicationsDocumentation of medication administrationProviding resident care in accordance with federal, state and local standardsFacilitate Care Plans as dictated by residents' medical professionalsAt times manage the activities of individual caregiversPromote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents in accordance to the community policiesRespect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.Respects residents' confidentiality.Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Community.Performs other LVN duties as assigned.Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or state specific licensed nurse credentialMust maintain valid LVN license and active certificationsMust be at least 18 years of agePrevious experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniorsAbility to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interestAbility to react and remain calm in difficult situationsAbility to handle multiple prioritiesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understandingDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skillsMinimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital or long-term care environment and desire to serve and care for seniorsDecision making abilities and acting in the resident's best interest, ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
