This position is responsible for performing day-to-day sonography studies on clinic patients.Essential Position Responsibilities* Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonographic examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, patient safety protocols, and policies and procedures* Ensure safety of patients during sonographic examination* Ensure proper positioning and utilization of scanning techniques and equipment are followed* Conduct patient clinical assessment including reviewing patient medical history* Ensure sonographic examination orders are complete and meet standard of medical necessityQualifications* Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited sonography program* Licensure and Certifications: ARDMS and CPR, required.* Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a sonography role, preferred.Qualifications
