RN Emergency Room - Richmond, VA - Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Available

Job type: Full-time

Shift: Days and Night

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the 36-bed medical trauma unit. In this role, you will provide patient-centred direct nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, to a diverse patient population.

Roles and Responsibilities :
• You will provide therapeutic care to patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.
• You will assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyse heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, noting arrhythmias, and intervening in emergencies.
• During every shift you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions utilizing our computerized documentation systems.
• You will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team and participate in patient/family education.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred (will consider candidates without acute care experience)
