Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Opening Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. Under the direction of the director/charge person, this position involves monitoring procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensuring safe patient care, and serving as a scrub assistant.

Education:

  • Associates degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or respiratory therapy.
  • In lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years of experience and: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification (required within 12 months of hire) or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification (required within 12 months of hire).

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license with a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (preferred) or Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license with a valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (preferred).
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification (required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields).
  • BLS
  • ACLS
