Apply today and join us in our mission to provide quality service to the commonwealth's veterans and their families DESCRIPTION OF WORK Duties for a part-time Pharmacist include preparing and dispensing medications, accurately entering medication orders into a computer database, and reviewing medication profiles and histories for potential adverse interactions. You also participate in the procurement, storage, maintenance, usage, and control of all drugs and biologicals. You must conduct operations in compliance with all governmental and internal regulations, rules, and polices. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Part-time employment, 37.5-hours biweekly Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with 30-minute lunch, rotating schedule, and must work every other weekend. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: You must meet the Special Requirement. Special Requirement: Possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
