Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Description: Novant Health is seeking a Labor and Delivery registered nurse for the WOW night shift. We offer a relocation bonus and a part-time schedule with benefits. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate patient care needs for discharge planning with members of the health care team.
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of nursing care with the patient and family.
- Implement and evaluate the patient's response to care through assessment and reassessment and update plan of care.
- Ensure timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
- Document assessments, delivery of care, and patient's response to care in medical records.
- Provide information and facilitate patient/family teaching.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree accredited in nursing school required.
- Current valid nursing license required.
- 1 year experience in acute care required.
- 2 years of experience in L/D or antepartum preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. To be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
