Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated

per diem

SLP to treat out of our outpatient clinic in Commack, with the opportunity to pick up home care cases as needed. Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff, as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team

Job Type: Per Diem Schedule: 2 days/week, which you can choose (1 day shift, 1 evening shift) OR Saturdays to accommodate pediatrics. Location: Commack Pay: $60-$80 per visit (45 minute sessions) Requirements:

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
