Reliable's corporate headquarters is located in Elmsford, NY; manufacturing plant in Liberty, SC, and regional sales and distribution centers throughout the US and across the world.We aim to serve as a fire protection leader by (i) manufacturing the highest quality sprinklers and valves (ii) producing and distributing a complete line of system components (iii) providing innovative solutions (iv) delivering the highest level of customer service and (v) teaming with customers as valuable strategic partners; while upholding the Fee Family ownership-management commitment of supporting the fire protection industry, associations and Reliable family of employees since 1920.We are hiring across the country and have the following opportunity available to you today: Material HandlerBoston WarehouseWalpole, MAThe Material Handler stores, ships, receives, and replenishes finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors by parcel, LTL, truckload, and/or private carrierDuties and Responsibilities Responsible for all tasks associated with the shipping and receiving functions at a distribution centerScans barcodes, using a handheld scanner, to deliver materials to the target location within the warehouseOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment Completes and maintains daily forklift inspections reportsAssists Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful mannerReports any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse or Operations SupervisorReports backorders to the Customer Service DepartmentPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
