Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates for a Lab/Clinical Assistant position.The person in this position must provide safe, effective, and competent phlebotomy procedure execution with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights.Communicates effectively and coordinates work with other clinic workers for maximum efficiency and quality of service.Assists with scheduling, monitoring lab performance, and quality control activities.Responsible for assisting with answering phones and performing order entry duties.Arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of outpatients/non-patients who have hospital based testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient

information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or equivalent.For LPN a Montana state license is required. Medical Assistants have to be certified.Phlebotomy certificate preferred. Licensures, Certifications, Registrations:

BLS or higher. Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, discernment and good judgement.Strong organizational/time management skills, flexibility, ability to analyze and discern data, manage stressful situations, and work independently.Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
