We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a client's team in New Orleans This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management, book keeping, data entry, categorizing transactions, recording a wide range of financial transactions and some vendor interaction. They offer administrative and bookkeeping assistance to Accountants, prepare financial statements, and confirm the accuracy of accounting database information. The Accounting Clerk should be able to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail, and have basic knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and terminology. They should also be able to produce a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets, check for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings, and reconcile and report any discrepancies found in the records.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 2+ years of Equivalent Experience

- Basic Accounts Payable Knowledge

- Basic General Accounting Knowledge

- Experience in Data Entry

- Strong experience in Microsoft Suite
