Nurse Float 2024/25

There is a July 1, 2024 opening for a Nurse Float in the East Irondequoit Central School District. This position is a 12 month, 7 hour per day position. Salary: Based on the EICSD Bargaining Agreement

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following: 1)Substitute nurse for any health office as needed. 2)Check-in with the Director of Student Services to communicate daily worksite. 3)Assist any health office with screenings – vision, hearing, scoliosis. 4)Assist any health office with student physicals – mandated and sports. 5)Assist middle school and high school health offices with sports re-certifications. 6)Assist any health office having students with special needs – feeding tube, nebulizer treatments, diabetes, toileting, etc. 7)Assist any health office using Infinite Campus to record student information such as daily visits, health appraisals, immunizations, etc. 8)Attend field trips to assist students with specific medical needs such a diabetes and seizure disorder. 9)Coordinate the summer sports re-certifications/physicals.
