DescriptionVirginia ABA is looking for dedicated and passionate Registered Behavioral Technician to join our Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) team In this role, you will utilize your ABA therapy skills and knowledge to assist clients on the autism spectrum.PLEASE NOTE: A typical schedule will be Monday-Friday 3:00pm to 8:00pm and weekends 8:00am-6:00pm. Scheduling is flexible and dependent upon client availability. Must be able and willing to provide ABA service to clients in Newport News, VA; Hampton, VA, and Williamsburg, VA specifically.Responsibilities:MEASUREMENT: Prepare, enter, and update all data related to clients on caseload.DOCUMENTATION AND DATA REPORTING: Describe, record, and generate a complete report of clients' behaviors in measurable terms; to also include, other variables, such as illness and medication notes, and other objective observations.SKILLS ACQUISTION: With your BCBA, create a skill acquisition plan for the client and implement procedures to encourage the student's acquisition of the desired skill.BEHAVIOR REDUCTION: With your BCBA, create a behavior reduction plan and implement interventions and differential reinforcement procedures.PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT: Maintain clear lines of communication and professional boundaries, and implement supervisors' feedback to improve your professional performance.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of agePossess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalentBachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Speech, Counseling or related human service field preferred.A minimum of one year of experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs
