We take great pride in our people and believe they are our greatest asset.Affordable Medical, Pharmacy, and DentalLife and Disability Insurance401k Profit Trust PlanPTO (Paid Time Off)Growth OpportunitiesCompetitive PayWhat will you do?In this role, you will manage employees in the daily production operations while holding them accountable for all company policies and standards.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department and its employees; including performance management, time-keeping, and safety procedures.Assist in the training of new hire employees and ongoing education for the team.Expedite shop orders through the department.Coordinate with management and/or employees from other departments in the manufacturing/fabrication/assembly process.Help team to maintain machines and work area in a clean and safe manner.Floating schedule to cover approved supervision absences (always one to two week notice before shift change)Base schedule is 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.What are we looking for?We're looking for engaged individuals that are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning and enjoy working with others.Dedicated to completing tasks with loyalty and integrity, while remaining detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.Key Competencies:Strong focus on SafetyHave previous supervisory/management experience Experience in one or all of the following is preferred:welding; metal fabrication; machiningAble to read blueprintsExcellent communication skills; able to converse professionally with shop and office employees, supervisors, managers, and executives Proficient with performance management, including plans of action and evaluationsProficient with MS Office Detail-orientedConsistent shop floor presence (2/3 of shift)Multi-task on a consistent basis throughout the shift Average math skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete logs, documents, and reports in EnglishWork with others and be a team playerTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the company's Burleson, TX branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
