What Your Job Will Be Like: We are seeking an early career TEMPEST Technologist to support the Technical Surveillance Specialist in preventing unauthorized interception of compromising emanations that may be present in information processing communication equipment, systems, and components. TEMPEST services may be conducted utilizing highly specialized equipment, knowledge, and skills to protect sensitive information and operations. On any given day, you may be called on to support operation activities of the TEMPEST program at multiple sites which includes but is not limited to: + Support facility inspections + TEMPEST assessments and reviews + Instrument testing + TEMPEST countermeasure implementation + Facility and equipment evaluation + Preparation/Evaluation of TEMPEST plans for DOE facilities + Analyze security requirements to support recommendations on Sandia facility design, counter threat plans, physical security, and technical security policies and equipment to mitigate or neutralize vulnerabilities against technical threats.
