Job Description AP/CP Board Certified/Eligible Surgical Pathologist GREATER CINCINNATI REGION (USA). St. Elizabeth Healthcare (SEH) seeks two full-time surgical pathologists to serve our expanding healthcare system, with ten pathologists currently covering pathology services at three hospitals in Northern Kentucky and one in Southeast Indiana. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is a Catholic healthcare ministry with six hospital facilities and 165 St. Elizabeth Physicians specialty and primary care offices throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Qualified Candidates: AP/CP board certified or eligible. Eligible for medical licenses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and State of Indiana. Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training in one or more of the following areas: GI, hematopathology, breast, cytopathology, or surgical pathology. Strong diagnostic skills in a wide variety of surgical specimens. Expectations: Expected service coverage includes a combination of surgical pathology and frozen sections. Additional service requirements are dependent upon fellowship training and certification. Participation in tumor boards. Weekend and night call coverage. The anatomic pathology division at St. Elizabeth Healthcare processes approximately 31,000 surgical pathology cases, 18,000 gynecologic cytology and 3,000 non-gyn cytology cases annually. In addition, SEH employs five full-time ASCP certified pathologists' assistants and four ASCP certified cytotechnologists. A new cancer center at the Indiana campus is scheduled to open April 2024.
