Journeyman Electrician

Amp Check Electric is currently hiring for the position of Journeyman Electrician. We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team. As a journeyman electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide appropriate solutions Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical problems and recommend preventive measures Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other team members as needed Keep accurate records of work performed Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices and less experienced electricians Requirements Valid journeyman electrician license Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Attention to detail and strong work ethic Benefits Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Training & Development
