As a Software Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Dynata's Quality Score product and other data quality products that leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for clients across the globe.

RESPONSIBILITES

These include the following. (Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management in the context of the role.)
  • Design and perform full-stack web-based development using agile methodologies, including unit testing, code reviews, continuous delivery, etc., along with leveraging a variety of technologies and techniques to implement projects, such C#, JavaScript, Python, Java, NoSQL, SQL, data science, machine learning, etc. In addition, code must be designed to scale and follow best security practices.
  • This role is very data centric and will require data science skills with the opportunity to use machine learning.
  • Learn core business processes, follow best software engineering practices, perform code reviews, and continually look to improve our products and services.
  • Make bug fixes for issues found in production and minor enhancements to existing applications.
  • Production support, troubleshooting, real-time monitoring, helping clients with implementation issues, etc. will be a constant task.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor front-end changes to support Dynata's backend systems
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Core competency in computer science: general programming, logic, problem solving, data structures, algorithms, etc.
  • Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL
  • Enjoys working with and looking at data with the ability to write complex SQL
  • Strong coding skills with Java, C#, JavaScript and/or Python
  • Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Willingness to work in all layers and lifecycles of software design to implement a new feature or to find the solution to a known problem: client support, production support, font-end, back-end, database, machine learning, and detailed data analysis.
  • Team player capable of working independently and with other team members.
  • Ambitious in the field of computer science and capable of learning new concepts, technologies, programming languages, and software development lifecycles.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional knowledge and ability to thrive in a highly complex, fast paced, lean, and agile environment.
  • Flexible work environment - hybrid (if near an office) or 100% remote
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years' experience in software development.

The base salary range for this position in is $100K-$140K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
