The paramedic in the ED is responsible for the delivery of certain elements of patient care that promote the safety and well-being of all patients.Responsible for assisting in patient care in accordance with Indiana scope of practice.Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.Contributes to the provision of quality patient care through the performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.Qualifications:Education:High School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an accredited Paramedic Training programJoin a patient centered team committed to not only supporting our patients but each other Compassionate Caring is our CallingAbout this unit: Northwest Health - Porter has three of the largest emergency departments in the region, offering emergency services 24/7.
