The Position

As an Echter's cashier, you will be the last and most important point of contact for customers. Cashiers ensure that customers had a pleasant experience in the store and leave with the information needed to be successful. As a cashier, you will facilitate an efficient check-out by ringing merchandise, applying coupons/discounts, boxing product and taking payment. Cashiers must be able to work quickly, ensure accuracy, and remain upbeat throughout the day.

Duties

A day in the life of a cashier could include:

•Ringing product and taking payment

•Providing customer assistance

•Distributing informational material

•Documenting customer suggestions/comments

•Communicating with carryout team

•Boxing, wrapping, and loading purchases

•Pricing and stocking

•Cleaning and organizing

Requirements

•Able to lift 40 lbs. or more

•Able to work Saturdays & Sundays when necessary
