Busser - The Statehouse

Busser Job Responsibilities:

A busser serves our Statehouse guests by setting tables; keeping water and coffee glasses full; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; clearing and cleaning tables and chairs and keeping an overall clean work environment throughout the restaurant.

Busser Job Duties:

* Prepares dining room for patrons by cleaning tables; stocking service stations; setting up bread station and AM beverage station. Keep all condiments, sauces and butters stocked, clean and organized.

* Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.

* Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert and proactive to patron spills or other special needs. Maintains a clean restaurant including the floor, windows and doors.

* Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing trash containers liners and bus stations.

* Closes dining facility resetting chairs and tables; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training and pre-shift opportunities.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

* Preform other duties as assigned by your department head.

* Other duties as assigned.
