Journeyman Electrician

Malace|HR is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Romulus, MI. The position comes with FULLY PAID HEALTH INSURANCE. Qualified Candidates will possess the below skills/abilitiesResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain or alter electrical services, equipment, and controls using approved and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways, and equipmentWork will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditionsWork with high- and low-voltage systems, to troubleshoot and repairMaintain work area and equipment in a safe, efficient, and clean operating conditionsStrictly adhere to all safety rules and regulationsReport to supervisor any equipment in need of repair or any unsafe situation or conditionOperate efficiently, all hand/power tools, test instruments and equipment normally used by this trade and maintain/return in good conditionAssist in performing other duties, including work of other trades as requiredQualificationsRequires minimum of State of Michigan or UAW Journeyman's CardHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Journeyman Electrical LicenseValid state driver's license in good standingSuperior customer service skills and orientationAbility to maintain professionalism always and under stressful situationsAbility to multi-task and work without direction supervisionAbility to plan and manage work under time constraintsStrong organizational skills and collaborative style neededMust be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, or walkingMust be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance
