Delivery Driver Local/Long Haul

Job description Wild Coyote Foods is a dynamic and growing company committed to delivering top-notch products to our customers. We take pride in our commitment to excellence and are seeking a dedicated CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Delivery Driver at Wild Coyote Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries of our products to our valued customers. This position primarily involves local deliveries with bi-weekly runs to Northern Utah, requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A and the ability to drive a 53' tractor/trailer. Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Conduct local deliveries within designated routes, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries to customers. Perform our Northern Utah run, managing long-distance routes with efficiency and responsibility. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of products. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, records, and reports. Provide excellent customer service by establishing positive relationships with customers and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient coordination of deliveries. Follow established procedures for handling and documenting returned products. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Knowledge of local and federal driving regulations. Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate delivery equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to work occasional weekends and extended hours as needed.
