Years of Experience: 9 years Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/ combined education Position Description: The scope encompasses contractor support to help define, design, develop, test, maintain, implement and support the eServices systems under the direction of IRS subject matter experts, in collaboration with IRS developers, following IRS Processes, using IRS specified COTS and IRS developed products. The following activities are part of this effort; to maintain the eServices project, to expand the eServices project, to maintain and build out Development, Test and Production Environments. Requirements Required Skills: The subcontractor will perform software testing tasks in support of the eServices production system. Specific tasking will be provided by the Leidos task leaders. Tasks will be captured on the eServices schedule or sub project schedules along with due dates. The subcontractor’s job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following. Must have an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Clearance Must be flexible and adaptable, able to support using a wide variety of methods and technologies Must have experience in requirements analysis test compliance. Must have experience in integration and system testing. Must have experience in software development life cycle for both agile and waterfall Must have experience in Agile sprint testing Must have experience in browser testing Must feel comfortable interacting with the Leidos and IRS client on a daily basis Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented Perform analysis on existing functionalities and testing scripts Create and maintain documentation in support of the project Create, maintain, and execute test scripts Maintain test data Verify Pass/Fail of test scripts through verification of log files Provide status reports Provide and document test results or defects Use Rational Suite tools Use Microsoft Suite tools Use SmartBear SoapUI and Jmeter to develop API test suite, and test scripts. Execute SoapUI or Jmeter test suites as needed in development and application qualification testing. Preferred Skills: Windows Test Automation Testing batch processes Soft Skills: Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail. Team Work: Able to enthuse and maintain project interest. Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way. Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context. Excellent active listening skills. Quantitative Management: Ability to determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions. Results oriented: Able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task.
