DESCRIPTION (Summary):

Operates forklift truck to move materials to and from the different workstations through the plant.

DUTIES:

• Knowledge of operation sequence and material flow
• Operates forklift to supply workstations with materials with minimal delay
• Makes boxes, brings in skids, use scales to weight count containers
• Notifies appropriate person of quantities of boxes, baskets, lids, etc.
• Monitors conditions of forklift truck and requests maintenance as appropriate
• Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
• Forklift

JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Assists with production set-ups as required
• Be at work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your ability
• Communicate problem areas with supervisors
• Follow all quality inspection processes

Qualifications

• Previous water spider experience preferred
• Self-motivated
