Mammoth Hospital serves a population of nearly 25,000 people between Mono County and the surrounding area, and easily would support a physician seeing 18-20 patients a day for 4 days, Monday - Thursday, and a surgery day on Friday. As a Rural Health Clinic, we are able to pay our providers for every patient they see, regardless of the patient payor mix.
