Our busy company is looking to hire an experienced bookkeeper to assist us in managing all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payables, general ledger journal entries, and payroll. Our ideal candidate will have relevant knowledge of construction accounting best practices and will be proficient with accounting software. Responsibilities

•Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software
•Pay invoices, checks, and payroll accurately and on-time, and resolve any invoicing issues
•Maintain and update accurate financial records, tax reports, contracts, annual budgets, and financial statements
•Manage all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and oversee the accounts payables and receivables process
•Be responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger, and journal entries, and prepare balance sheets and financial reports for review

Qualifications

•Associate's degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred - high school diploma is required
•Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks
•Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important
