** Volunteer Driver (Newtown)**

February 8th, 2022 **You will play a valuable part in the Day Hospice service providing safe transport for hospice patients to and from the Day Hospice and their homes. We currently have two vacancies.**

**Role responsibilities:**

* Driving patients to and from the Day Hospice and their home

* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients at all times

* Adhering to safe manual handling practices including when handling wheelchairs and walkers and transferring of patients

**Person requirements:**

* Clean full drivers licence

* Physical strength and stamina

* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships

* High level of integrity

* Double Vaccinated

**Commitment**Wednesday Weekly/Fortnightly or monthly 9.15am 10am and/or 2.00pm 2.45pm

**Location**48 Mein Street, Newtown
