Description

Annual Salary: $64,000.00 to $84,000 Depending on License and Experience

Centurion Forensic Health Services (FHS) is currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Court Clinical Clinician (LISW, LCSW, LMHC) to join the forensic services team in the Cambridge Mental Health Court located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The Mental Health Court Clinician reports to the FHS Clinical Supervisor of Specialty Courts who collaborates and communicates with the DMH Area Forensic Director, and the FHS Court Clinic Supervisor.

The Mental Health Court Clinician is responsible for:
  • Clinical screening of all Mental Health Court referrals using evidence based substance abuse assessment tools;
  • Motivational interviewing and client centered treatment planning;
  • Outreach and Referrals to treatment programs;
  • Case management and regular contact with participants using evidence based approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism in partnership with probation (who supervise court-ordered conditions) and other criminal justice personnel;
  • Work collaboratively with community providers to obtain weekly reports of participant's status;
  • Provide weekly testimony to the court on participants' status;
  • Data collection and maintenance of Mental Health Court files;
  • Organization of participant's graduation, drug court meetings, and community presentations as requested.
Qualifications
  • Be licensed as an LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (other credentials may be considered)
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Have experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders
  • Be able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
  • Be willing to travel within the State
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Pass a background check
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
