About the Role:Southern California Heart Centers is a high-volume regional leader in Cardiovascular Surgery seeking to add one to two full-time additional surgeons to their prestigious team and thriving practice.Required Qualifications:Board Certified in Thoracic SurgeryUnrestricted California Medical LicenseCurrent California DEA CertificateCurrent BLS, ACLS certificationExcellent skillset in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery with good outcomes in Coronary Surgery, Valvular Surgery, Arrhythmia Intervention and with experience in Minimal Access Approaches (looking for at least 10 years of experience) Well-versed in CABG, multi-valve, robotic CABG, and robotic lung Practice Overview:Call schedule will be 1-3 with 1 to 2 weekends per monthAverage of one clinic day per week, clinics are located within one mile of hospital Full PA support for floors, intensivists, hospitalist support, and full PA surgical support intraoperatively About Us:The group has been integrally involved in advancing the practice of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. This position is located ten miles northeast of Los Angeles, in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley - home to its largest city, Pasadena, which is known for the Rose Bowl, fine dining, and entertainment.
