M.D. or D.O. Degree Licensure:
Licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee.
Certification:
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
Clinical and Academic Duties
·
Provide broad spectrum of psychiatric care to complex patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
·
Supervise advanced practice providers assigned to the behavioral health service line
·
Collaborate with Residency Program Directors (Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology and Pediatrics) to coordinate educational rotations for each discipline to meet ACGME requirements
·
Provide lectures to fellows, residents and medical students as requested
·
Attend Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings and other Departmental Activities
·
Work with the College of Medicine and Medical Center leadership to develop a Psychiatry Residency program if feasible
