We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in our residential properties.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
  • Prepare the subfloor by removing existing flooring, leveling, and cleaning - Install flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile
  • Apply adhesives, nails, or staples to secure flooring materials
  • Ensure proper alignment and tight seams between flooring pieces
  • Trim excess material and finish edges using appropriate tools
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

Position Requirements

Preferred
  • Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment related to flooring installation
  • Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for flooring installation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Self-starter, independent thinker, motivated and efficient
