Salary USD $21.63/Hr. Description and Responsibilities Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are referred by the Department of Developmental Services. The Behavior Technician is responsible for assisting the BCBA to implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and deliver interventions identified on the Treatment Plan. The RBT will also provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills as well as reduce challenging behaviors in the home and community settings. Other Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the completion of all documentation according to prescribed timelines. + Provide crisis management and intervention supports to programs. Provide clinical advocacy and guidance to staff. + Coach staff to provide one on one direct supports to assist individuals to attain success in their daily living skills. + Provide direct supports to assist individuals to learn regulation strategies, coping skills and daily living skills. + Carry out any clinical assessments and collaborate effectively with program and clinical teams. Qualifications + High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. + Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group living environment setting. + Must be a Registered Behavior Technician,or wiling to obtain certification within the first 3 months of employment. + Valid drivers license and acceptable driving history, required.
