Building Bridges Therapy is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to become a valued member of our outstanding team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Building Bridges Therapy, you will have the unique chance to create a meaningful difference in the lives of children experiencing challenges with their communication skills and swallowing abilities. You will work with pediatric clients, infants to young adults, to evaluate their speech, language, cognitive, and feeding abilities and create personalized treatment plans. Working alongside a diverse and dynamic team, you will skillfully apply proven therapy techniques to assist clients in enhancing their speech and language abilities, fostering enriched social interactions, and ultimately boosting their proficiency in effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' speech, language, cognitive, and feeding abilities through comprehensive assessments
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to clients
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive, and feeding skills
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and continuity of care
  • Empower and educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment sessions and client progress
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, CFYs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology therapy techniques, and assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to therapy
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
