ResponsibilitiesProcess medication orders including drug dispensing, compounding, and distribution with accuracy and efficiencyDeliver optimal pharmacotherapy that is safe and efficaciousClinical drug monitoring/consultationCollaborate with other health care professionals to manage patient drug therapiesDaily reactive and targeted proactive medication regimen reviews within designated area(s)Quality assurance and improvementProvide drug information support or drug teaching upon requestWillingness to precept pharmacy students and/or pharmacy residentsPromote a positive work environment that contributes to a team focused work unit QualificationsJob RequirementsGraduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacyRegistered Pharmacist, State of Texas (or eligible by reciprocity or board examinationsBe able to accurately and safely dispense drugs and drug information in accordance with state and federal regulations.Preferred Job RequirementsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degreePrevious pharmacy experience
