Description

The Mammographic/Radiologic Technologist, under the supervision of the Director of Medical Imaging, is primarily responsible for acting as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.

Hours: PRN (as needed)
  • Graduate of an approved A.M.A. school of Radiological Technology.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency License (IEMA)
  • Twenty four hours of continuing education every 2 years for IEMA and Fifteen hours of continuing education specific to Mammography
    to maintain MQSA every three years.
  • A.R.R.T. Mammography certification within 6 months of hire. Current CPR with AED.
  • Three to Five years experience as a Radiologic Technologist with one to three years experience in Mammography.
