Job Description:

As a CT Technologist at Medical Imagery Solutions and Staffing, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging services. You will work closely with our healthcare team to perform CT scans and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires expertise in operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a high standard of imaging quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform CT Scans: Operate CT scanning equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
2. Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure it operates at peak efficiency. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
4. Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
5. Image Quality: Ensure that CT images are of the highest quality by adjusting equipment settings as necessary and using contrast agents when required.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
7. Communication: Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and provide necessary information.
8. Patient Education: Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and provide support as needed.
9. Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality.
10. Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest advances in CT technology and medical imaging through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
2. Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT is required.
3. State Licensure: Valid Arizona state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Experience: Prior experience as a CT Technologist is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
6. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to produce accurate images and maintain patient safety.
7. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating CT scanning equipment and related technology.
8. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients when necessary.
9. Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
10. Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
