ABOUT THE ROLE: The Manager joins a department of part psychologists, part scientists, part artists, part entrepreneurs, and part politicians. We strategize how brands should communicate with people across the myriad of media channels, and how to do that differently from every other brand. Youwill assist in the planning, implementing and the maintenance of holistic media campaigns with the ability to assist in both the higher-level strategy as well as the implementation/execution of a media plan. You will manage direct client relationships as well as train and manage Planners and Associates in all media planning functions. YOUR IMPACT: Assist in the planning, implementing and the maintenance of holistic media campaigns with the ability to assist in both thehigher-levelstrategy as well as the implementation/execution of a media plan. Manage direct client relationships as well as train and manage planners and assistants in all media planning functions. Manage day to day client requests autonomously. Active collaboration with various departments and media buyers within Mindshare and across the GroupM network Develop and maintain the strategic media plan as well as present media strategy recommendations directly to client leads Work with Mindshare leads to represent media goals/strategy Represent media strategy within internal client meetings Making and maintaining strong working relationships with media vendors for smooth planning, execution and implementation Gain proficiency in MS Office applications and appropriate research tools Working with the Associate Director, as well as implementation groups, develops budget allocations across media, media mix scenarios Provide day-to-day direction to implementation groups for the strategic media plan Maintain and communicate up-to-date records of the implementation of the plan Provide research and analysis to manage various issues that arise in the execution WHAT YOU'VE ALREADY CONQUERED: A Bachelor's Degree in advertising, marketing, business administration or communication; OR equivalent professional work experience 3-4 years' experience working within strategy/planning, preferably within a media agency setting Previous experience working across all media channels (digital and traditional) Previous experience working with tools includingMediaOcean, Prisma is preferred Previous experience working in a data-driven environment is a plus Able to work autonomously Able to work in a fast-paced,deadline-orientedenvironment Adaptable to take direction and multi-task ABOUT MINDSHARE Mindshare is a media services company that accelerates for its clients in the age of transformation.
