*What will you do at E3BV? * Produce lab scale battery materials from inorganic and organic precursors that improve lithium ion battery performance and cycle life. Participate in making electrodes with innovative materials and building small lab cells for testing. Manage chemical / physical analyses outsourced to third parties. *What is the work environment at E3BV? * A small innovation and prototyping lab with a Battery Development Scientist and a Battery Engineer Full time and permanent, with flexibility in planning / scheduling work flow *How does E3BV operate? * Multiple projects for client companies - start up and larger corporations A focus on advancing battery technologies through learning - from experiments, as well as industry experts and literature reviews Occasional visits from personnel at client companies - to work side-by -side on project work Transfer technology to clients and to development partners *Why are you a good fit for this position at E3BV? * You are comfortable with chemistry, in general. Hands on lab work is rewarding to you. You are open to hearing new ideas about project work objectives and sharing your own with our small team and clients.
