**Description**
**Position:** *Bus Driver*
**Palmettos of Bluffton Assisted Living** to help provide transportation for our patients. The applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring, and helpful. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented.
**Position Highlights:**
Are determined by the center and may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Responsible for the care and use of center vehicle.
* Safely transport patients/residents to and from appointments and activities.
* Inspects all equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
* Prepares and submits reports as directed.
* Able to be on call for emergencies.
* Transports specimens to lab for Nursing Department, as needed.
* Runs errands as directed.
* Responsible for the care and use of supplies and maintenance equipment used in performance of duties.
* Able to cooperate with other partners.
* Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Experience**
* High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
* Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
* CDL Preferred but NOT required.
* Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients.
