Opportunity Description

We are seeking Per-Diem X-ray Technicians to join our dynamic team in Northern New Jersey. As a vital member of our client healthcare facility, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of our radiologists and orthopedic specialists. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Duties

Perform X-ray examinations on patients according to physician orders.

Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.

Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures at all times.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.

Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic specialists to ensure accurate interpretation of images.

Assist in the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.

Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and techniques.

Experience & Skills Required

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Valid state licensure as a radiologic technologist in New Jersey.

Prior experience working as an X-ray technician in a healthcare setting preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.

Certifications

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
