Responsibilities:

Gives direct patient care according to the therapeutic plan of care developed by the supervising registered nurse under physicians orders.

Administers prescribed medications consistent with physicians orders.

Records nurses notes and other documentation required in clients chart upon observation.

Revises patients care plan as directed by supervising nurse. Reinforces teaching/instructions given to patient and caregivers by the physician, and/or supervising Nurse.

Must be able to complete required procedures utilizing universal precautions and required safety measures.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of New Jersey.
