We are looking for an Occupational Therapist - Full TimeTo work in a inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Responsibilities:The occupational therapist must be able to effectively complete comprehensive evaluations, establishtreatment plans of care, and provide appropriate occupational therapy treatments to patients with a varietyof neurological diagnosis and impairments. The focus of occupational therapy in inpatient rehabilitation isto maximize each patient's recovery and level of functional ability including but not limited to: neuromuscularrecovery (through neuro rehabilitation), functional mobility skills improvement, activities of daily living skills andindependent activities of daily living skills improvement, cognitive skills improvement and proper use of adaptive equipment as needed.This position also requires effective communication skills to establish good rapport with patients and staff, toeducate and train caregivers, and to provide an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's care.Qualifications:Must be an Occupational Therapist with a current Louisiana license. Master's Degree
