Qualifications

AV-rated north bay firm Friedemann Goldberg Wargo Hess LLP seeks Associate Attorney to join our estate planning, business, and litigation practice.Successful candidate would possess the following:

  • License to practice law in California with no record of discipline
  • 3-7 years of experience in Trusts and Estates Litigation or Civil Litigation in California
  • Candidates with knowledge and experience in (or an interest and willingness to learn) one or more of the following will pique our interest:

-Trust and estate litigation

-Related business and real property issues

-Estate planning

  • Willingness to take on increasing responsibility, possess excellent writing and communication skills, as well as technical expertise
  • Superior analytical, communication, drafting, writing, research skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and thoughtful
  • Ties to or an interest in living in Sonoma County are preferred

  • Salary Range of $120,000 to $150,000, depending on years of experience
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Annual billable hours for Associates are targeted lower than large firms at 1,650 hours
  • Performance based bonus; additional bonus based on collections directly sourced by associate
