Locum job ER/IP Physician Cumberland, WI

  1. Order Description:
    • Type: Locum
    • Position: MD/DO
    • Role: Er/IP - 5-6 patients half are swing bed.
    • Annual volume: 3000 Summer rush- Oct/Nov ( normal numbers 8-10 per 24 hours) holidays hit Thanksgiving until Christmas 13-18 patients in 24 hour period. Expect Jan through April will be back to normal Summer and holiday rush. Summer was 20-30% increase in volume from previous summer. Will add another nurse and tech into the ED during the summer. one nurse with tech, 2 floats.
    • Shift options: 48
    • EMR: meditech
    • Trauma level: 4
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • State License(s) accepted: Wisconsin
    • DEA/CSR required?: Wisconsin
    • Covid/Flu Vaccination Requirements: yes liberal exemptions
    • BC/BE will site accept non-boarded? Under what conditions: open to FP, IM, ED
    • Life Certifications needed: ATLS, PALS. ACLS
    • Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Not a CALS facility
