Primary Purpose:

Performs complex tasks pertaining to the evaluation, audit, and translation of transcripts and other materials affecting completion of graduation requirements, and student academic standing. Assist in training other staff in the use of transcript evaluation and auditing of student records.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

Bachelors degree required
Masters degree preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of charter and state graduation requirements, policies and procedures regarding high school diploma requirements for graduation.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Ability to interpret and disseminate information to individuals and groups
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in keyboarding and file maintenance
Ability to use Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills

Experience:

Three (3) years experience performing review and analysis of transcripts and other record documents, in a high school setting.
High school counselor experience preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

High school transcript audits and evaluations
Work with high school counselors on transcript audits and evaluations
Assist with trainings for transcript evaluations, graduation requirements, endorsements, program pathways, endorsements, and performance requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.
