We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Renal/Neuro Telemetry unit at NCG Associates. As an RN in the Renal/Neuro Telemetry unit, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with renal and neurological conditions.Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' renal and neurological status Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor telemetry readings and interpret cardiac rhythms Assist in the coordination and provision of patient education and discharge planning Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment Stay up-to-date with advancements in renal and neurology nursing practices and participate in continuing education Provide emotional support to patients and their families Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Requirements Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice Graduation from an accredited nursing program Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in renal/neuro telemetry Strong knowledge of renal and neurology nursing principles and practices Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software If you are dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care to patients with renal and neurological conditions and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you. The team is supported by a Nurse Manager, Unit Based Educator, Unit Coordinator (Charge RN) out of staffing and Patient Care Techs (CNAs)Class/Area: RN Tele Pay Rate: $1,818 - $1,899 weekly base on experience Desired Start Date: ASAP Length of Assignment: 14 Hours per Week: 36 Shift and Time: 12hr Nights; 1845-0715 Weekend Rotation: Every Other Required On-call Requirements: None Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp.
